A cross-party Modern Slavery Bill is currently awaiting hearing in the New Zealand Parliament. For Wellington's legal, policy and business communities, this breakfast is an opportunity to understand what is in the bill, what it means in practice, and discuss how organisations can engage constructively with the reform process while preparing for upcoming obligations.

The session will feature a short presentation on the implications of the Bill for the business community, with a look at upcoming legislative trends in other jurisdictions, and practical steps for how organisations can prepare now.

Alongside the discussion, there will be time for networking and peer conversation among professionals who will have to be at the forefront of the issue.

Time: 9.30am to 11.00am (registration opens from 9.00am)
