There is no confirmed date. Under the current Bill, the regime is expected to take effect around six months after Royal Assent. It is expected that Statements will then be due six months after the end of each reporting period. Currently, the reporting period is slated to be from 1 July to 30 June each year (NZ financial year) for government entities, while the reporting period for all other entities, including private entities, is from 1 April to 31 March.
